This design shows a hot air balloon that has drifted way too high up into the night sky.
I started with the background—a dark blue gradient. Like in The Moon Bridge, I added some noise for extra texture.
Next came the clouds at the bottom. These were made in three layers, each built from a bunch of overlapping ovals in different sizes.
Then I added some right trapezoids, inspired by certain pieces from FireArt Studio. I wasn't exactly sure what to call them at first, but after some research, I think they're similar to bokeh. Even if I'm wrong, I think they work well with the piece.
The final touches were the stars and the balloon itself. Once those were in place, the piece was complete.
